Train Line: Midtown Direct / Gladstone.  45 minutes to NYC.

School Busing: No school busing in Summit.

Major Highways:  Highway 78 to the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel.

Parking:  There is permit parking for Summit residents at $4 / day.  Non-residents pay $10 per day.  Residents can park in the Broad Street garage and non residents use valet parking next to the Broad Street garage.   If you plan to just park for a couple hours, Summit has free 2 hour parking on De Forest Ave.  For more info http://www.ci.summit.nj.us/departments/parking.cfm.

Noteworthy:  Summit is unique in that it is a pedestrian friendly town.  Everything is walking distance:  Starbucks, Cheese Shop, YMCA, Post Office, Café Mavi, Shopping, Public Parking, Library, etc.
